Will YOU Be the next Body By Belmars Winner?

Body by Belmars is a 3 month "biggest loser" type program available
to members of the gym where the staff at Belmars provide both
nutrition and workout advice to help you meet your weight loss
goals. They help you set realistic goals and then work with you to
achieve them with, of course, a penalty if you fail to meet your
weekly goal! I found the motivation and accountability the most
helpful in helping me meet my weight loss goals. I successfully lost
nearly 30lbs participating in the program and was in the best shape
of my life when it was all said and done. I was even able to
complete my first 1/2 marathon in under 3 hours only months after
the program ended. Like any program, you only get what you give.
Nothing comes from free and I worked hard for all 12 weeks to
achieve the results I was after. It's not as simple as working out,
I had to change my eating, my thinking, and my fitness in order to
achieve success and the staff at Belmars was with me every step of
the way with motivation, tips, and encouragement. You too can reach
your fitness and weight goals with Body by Belmars!

Everyone makes New Year’s Resolutions. This year the one at the top
of my list was to get healthy and fit. I had previously tried
dieting and going to the gym but easily got discouraged and bored of
the routine and continued to gain weight. After hearing friends and
coworkers rave about Belmars’ I decided to give the six week program
a try. Within one week I was hooked. Not only was I working out, but
most importantly I was having fun! I l groan and laugh at the same
time. My new motto is if I am giggling while working out it’s a
great workout. Within the six weeks I saw an enormous change in my
physical appearance, strength and state of mind. I decided this is
where I belong and not in a traditional gym. Peter is a great
instructor and Belmars is full of positive, encouraging and
inspiring people with great stories of transformation. When I first
joined in January I was 194 lbs. I am now 151lbs, the lightest and
in the best shape of my life and its only June! I am excited for the
transformations to come. I do not get tired of thanking Peter for
running such a wonderful establishment.

To think I wasn't going to join Body by Belmars. Actually, I
waited until the last day to attend the meeting to acquire
the info. I figured its a free program to members so why
not? I wasn't confident enough to join and was intimidated
by the 12 week program. "Instead of giving myself reasons
why I can't, I give myself reasons why I can." Last minute I
attended the meeting and received my welcome package. I knew
it wouldn't be easy but I thought to myself nothing in life
is easy.
Body by Belmars is a 12 week program free to its members
where you submit journal entries on everything you eat, your
calorie intake, and how much you exercise. I realized this
would be a lot of work but I was ready for the challenge.
Weighing in every week and making sure to lose 1lb seemed
tough but definitely not impossible. Not only was I making a
lifestyle change I was doing it to feel more confident and
motivated to alter my body physically and mentally. I can
honestly say I almost backed out, but then I was reminded by
the wise words from Peter, "what do you have to lose but
fat?" Those words inspired me and revived my motivation to
keep going. It was true! What did I have to lose? Even if I
didn't win the competition I would just be proud of the
weight and fat lost. I looked forward to the motivational
text and tips received every week. It was a great way to
stay on track.
As a result, I lost 12lbs as well as lot of inches off my body. I lost 7 1/2 inches in my waist, 4 1/4 in my thighs, and although i lost 4 1/2 inches in my arms i gained 1/2 an inch in my triceps. Seeing these numbers made me in disbelief. Did I really just drop 3 dress sizes??? Yes!!! Additionally, I came in second place in the Body by Belmars program. Although I didn't come in first, I felt like a winner. Hearing inspirational words coming from family, friends, and members and especially being told "you look great" and "keep it up" made me strive farther in gaining my goals. After the Body by Belmars program was over, I decided I wanted to reach my goal weight and Peter said to me" now it's my turn to help you get to your goal, so lets do it." Thanks to Peter, the Body by Belmars program, the nutritionist, Belmars classes, and making a lifestyle change, I feel more confident than ever Continuing with Belmars total body workout classes, I have lost 27lbs overall. As a mother of two, I feel proud of myself to coming this far and making healthy choices in order to live to watch my children grow. I didn't see it as going on a diet but making a lifestyle change. I am more aware of now on what foods to eat and stick to exercising 4 times a week . "Today I close the door to the past, open the door to the future, take a deep breath, step on through, and start a new chapter in my life." Don't give up! Anything is possible as long as you believe in yourself.

If it wasn’t for Body by Blemars I would probably still weigh 160 pounds…
After years of having the itch to do kickboxing, there was no better time to
join Belmars than in November 2011. I had a recent weight gain of 20 pounds, was
depressed, felt sluggish and unmotivated. My job as a new teacher was stressing
me out—I had to do something to snap out of it!
Ever since joining Belmar’s on November 13th, 2011 (yes, I remember the exact
date), my life has completely changed. I did the beginners course, fell in love
with Muay Thai and then participated in the Body by Belmars weight loss program.
I heard from people that participated before me that The Body by Belmars program
was like The Biggest Loser show from TV. I was up for the challenge! I knew that
this was the fastest way for me to lose the weight. While I was on the 12 week
program, I had to keep an online journal of my calorie intake, eat five meals
and drink at least eight glasses of water a day, as well as exercise. I weighed
in every week, watching my body transform as well as my self-confidence and
motivation, I knew it was working.
While sticking to the smarter way of eating, I quickly realized all of the junk
that I was putting into my mouth and the reason why I wasn’t losing any weight
before. I had been going to kickboxing classes and still eating like a pig. How
was I supposed to burn enough calories to lose weight if I was eating the amount
of food in one day that was normal for a person to eat in three? BBB changed my
eating habits completely. I started to think about the food I was going to eat
and made healthier choices.
People started to compliment me and ask me what I was doing to lose the weight.
I felt a boost of self-esteem and was encouraged to keep going. I became a much
happier person at home and at work. I started to get a sense of a high while
working out at the studio and knew that Body by Belmars was the the reason
behind my drive. I wanted to win the competition but I also wanted to win for
myself. Although I came in second place, I lost 14 pounds in the 12 weeks and gained a
whole new attitude!
I was once again the person I used to be and can truly say that Body by Belmars
helped me find myself again.

I had lost a lot of weight with daily cardio. However, I had never
had a proper diet. As a matter of fact I lost weight eating
bacon,egg,& cheese,a pastry & creamy coffee for breakfast everyday,
anything for lunch & extremely huge, fatty,heavy dinners. After 2
years of losing weight, I finally hit a plateau for 6 months,no
weigh tloss. Through Zumba by Christine, I learned about Body By
Belmars. Body By Belmars (BBB) was great motivation. It encouraged
me to finally have a healthy diet. I started reducing my meal
portions, and trying new foods that I would have otherwise never
tastedequite creative! BBB taught me how my eating affected my
weight. Therefore, it proved to me that the combination of eating
healthy & working out give great results. Not only that, I felt
amazing! Hard to explain, but it was a all good feelings.I started
at 146 lbs. and in my last weigh in I was 124 lbs. .My lightest
ever, yay, I lost 22lbs!!!

I found Belmars after deciding that I needed to try
a something different to stay motivated and get in shape. Peter’s
six week beginner program was a fantastic introduction to Muay Thai
and the best workout I have done in a long time. After completing
the beginner program I decided to give Body by Belmars (BBB) a shot.
The BBB program is set up as a competition among Peter’s students to
see who can lose the most weight over 12 weeks. At first, BBB seemed
daunting, but Peter encouraged me to give it a try.
To me, BBB represented a chance to test myself. Could I stay on
track with my diet and exercise for the full 12 weeks? Could I apply
the exercise and nutritional tips provided by Peter and his staff
when I was traveling or not able to make it to the studio? On top of
that, I still had to lose at least one pound per week. The scale
does not lie!
After the first few weeks of the program, I found that BBB actually
helped to motivate me and provided just the right amount of
structure to help me achieve both my fitness and weight loss goals.
For me, the most interesting part of BBB was maintaining my food
journal. Having to track the calories and nutritional value of my
daily meals was truly an eye opening experience. The diet and
nutritional advice provided by Peter throughout the program is
something that will stay with me forever.
By the end of the program, I lost 20 pounds over the course of 12
weeks and saw my fitness improve dramatically. I plan to compete in
the next BBB to help me stay motivated and keep working towards my
goals. I would recommend the program to anyone who wants to improve
their diet and fitness while working out with Peter, his staff and a
group of motivated students.
